The residents of this upscale apartment building in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, tasked Michael Gruber Design with redesigning their dated lobby, parlor, and reception area. They desired a classic, historically inspired design with modern touches and pops of color. A black and white checkered marble-look floor is reminiscent of the early 20th century glamour that the architecture of the building exudes. Custom millwork and thoughtfully selected materials make this space welcoming and luxurious for residents and guests.
